Thanks to a dear family friend, I was able to attend the much-anticipated Tibi runway show! Style sightings were at an all-time high, with some of my favorite bloggers like Chiara of The Blonde Salad, Hanneli Mustaparta and Olivia Palermo in attendance.

The Tibi runway contained mostly solid pieces, with touches of embroidery, metallic/plastic-y fabrics and suity separates. The only print in focus was a cool sparrow/crane print on everything from shorts, to blouses to pants. The colors that reigned supreme were black, white, dark green and burgundy. Crisp, clean lines and understated details are the two take-aways from the Tibi show.

Although I absolutely adored the Tibi fall/winter collection (and know that monochromatic looks are big for fall), I would have enjoyed seeing more prints and a bit more use of color in the usually very feminine and colorful line.
