I love books – not just coffee table books, but I’m talking good murder mysteries, psychological thrillers and sometimes a great love story. Regardless of what I’m reading, I like my books to be organized, whether it’s cookbooks in the kitchen, large photography or fashion hardcovers on the coffee table, or my before-bed reads on my nightstand. My husband and I are building a house, and I insisted on a reading nook. Of course, I would have loved an entire library, but compromise is key. Bottom line, books are the best! I especially love when they’re styled in an unconventional way, such as serving as the shelf itself rather than sitting on it…or as the base of a side table.
