Remember when Loeffler Randall sent these pretty raffia pieces my way a few months back? Well, not surprisingly, I haven’t been able to wear them in Dallas since the weather has been so crazy and cold this winter. The second I knew I’d be coming to Carmel, I immediately packed this purse and sandal combo. Aren’t they the cutest? The bag is great and so versatile since it can be worn as a clutch, crossbody or shoulder bag. Since it’s black, it also goes with everything. Some other Loeffler Randall favorites of mine this season include these cobalt perforated espadrille flats and this fun colorblock bag. If you’re looking for a bright statement purse for spring/summer but don’t want to spend a fortune, this cobalt Rider bag or this citrus-printed clutch are both fabulous. I am also dying to get my hands on these gold-heeled sandals.
If you’ve been to Carmel before, you’ll know that it’s not nearly as warm as its southern California counterparts. I suck at packing, so of course I brought all the wrong things and had to improvise with my outfits a little (i.e. wearing a dress over pants). It’s just too chilly to wear bare-legged, but I liked the idea of triple-layering my new OTTE dress with my favorite white jeans and new Rebecca Taylor vest (sale find!). Thoughts?
