While I’m the first to say I love a good pair of white denim, after wearing them for weeks on end it gets a little boring for me. A light (but not white!) pair of jeans was what I needed and James Jeans delivered. Instead of picking out a regular old pair, I opted for details. I selected the Twiggy Racer jean in Zen – don’t you love the zippered pockets? They’re really versatile too – I’ve worn them three times already and I’ve only had them for a week! I’ve worn them out with these heels, with my Rag & Bone boots to a movie, and with my Loeffler Randall flats for a lunch meeting. They’re the perfect summer shade and weight, don’t you think? This pair is a really flattering fit too (I never knew a high-rise I didn’t like) – shout out to all my girls with hips, because these are awesome! Instantly slimming. These jeans also come in white and kahlua (a darker khaki).
Some other pairs that are now in my shopping cart include these coated black jeans for fall and this classic skinny fit for everyday wear (both with a wonderful high-rise waistline). Who doesn’t enjoy a fab flare? I also can’t forget to mention their sale pieces. Wouldn’t this pair be perfect for a UT game later in the fall (as would this pair for A&M)? Love these jeans, Merritt! I’m going to have to check them out. I have such a high waist that regular rise jeans sometimes don’t work on me but will have to give it a try. I dig the burnt orange cords as well. As you say, perfect for those of us who live in Austin! (I did buy the burnt-orange Equipment blouse you once wrote about…love it. I’d been looking for a burnt orange silk forever and you saved me!). I’m envious of your nude Manolos. I wanted the same but their color nude isn’t right for my skin tone (Louboutin’s looks better). I did go home with the Manolo d’Orsays in black though and LOVE them!
