Jagger Giraffe Print Blazer | The Style Scribe

Okay, I have a somewhat embarrassing confession to make. I wore these pants three different days I was in New York. Not because I had nothing else to wear, but because they are so freaking comfortable. I’m not kidding. I’ve never owned a pair of pants like these before – I never really thought I’d be able to pull off the track/jogger pant look, so I never thought to try them on. That is until I was at Studio Sebastian right before fashion week and the owner told me how flattering they were. To tell you the truth, I honestly didn’t believe her and even rolled my eyes a little bit. Boy was I wrong! Not only are these pants flattering for my big hips and bootie, they’re as comfortable as pajama pants and I’ve been wearing them nonstop since I got to fashion week. I wore this look the day of the Tibi show and rewardStyle rooftop party at The Empire, but also wore the pants the last couple days I was in the city with my favorite sneakers for a more casual, laid-back look. The pants look pretty fab with everything I’ve paired them with! They lend that sophisticated, cool-chick vibe that I always crave from street style stars. I’m so obsessed, I think I’m going to pick them up in this soft ivory hue to wear as with winter white later this year! While they certainly aren’t the cheapest pair of pants out there, I’ve certainly been getting my money’s worth and know I will continue to do so all year long.

The other item I want to mention is this amazing giraffe-print blazer by new-to-me Australian label Jaggar. Literally days after I posted this talking about how nobody has been designing cooler animal prints, I discovered this blazer on Fashion Bunker. This print is also available in a dress, skirt and tee. It’s a light fabric, so the blazer is perfect for these next transitional months in Texas. Such a fun print, and I love how burnt orange is worked into the color scheme (hook ’em)!
