While working on a collaboration with Nordstrom earlier this spring (remember this post?), I was first introduced to one of their in-house lines, Chelsea28. It’s a fresh, modern collection with pieces ranging from $58-$158, which makes it an ideal choice for me. You all know how I love investment pieces (ahem, bags and shoes), but I can’t do the same with the rest of my wardrobe all. the. time. That’s where Chelsea28 came in to save me this season. Last week I ordered this mock-crop dress, this contour rib sweater and this grey midi skirt and didn’t sweat the final price for once! I haven’t received the sweater or the skirt yet, but the second this dress landed on my doorstep I knew it was a winner. Fit-and-flare silhouettes are the most flattering for my figure (as far as dresses go), and I love the look of crop tops without having to actually show any skin, so this dress was a no-brainer! The peek-a-boo lace between the top and skirt is flirty without being showy and the dress is so basic that it looks great with any and all accessories! It’s the perfect LBD for a night out, don’t you think? A few other pieces I’m considering include this long textured sweater, this cropped wide-leg pants (chic!), and this tweed topper coat. You may also have noticed that pop of color hanging from my neck – this piece is from BaubleBar’s Guest Bartender series with Emma Roberts! This one statement necklace brings so much life to any outfit – I can’t wait to wear it with simple tees and sweaters this fall. It’s just such an easy way to add a little sparkle to your everyday wear! Some other pieces I’m loving from Emma’s collection include this pair of earrings and this crystal necklace. Bring on the sparkle!
