Happy New Year’s Eve!! What is everyone up to tonight? Last night I arrived in SLC, so I’ll be enjoying the snowy and mountainous surroundings and quality time with two of my blogger besties, Emily and Rachel. You all know how much I love to raid my mom’s closet when I head home to Austin, and this trip I most definitely took advantage. One of the pieces out of her wardrobe I wore (ahem, repeatedly) was this amazing Rachel Zoe cape-sleeved coat. Apparently it’s from last year – no idea how I was just now finding it!
I guess I’m pretty lucky that I don’t have to rush to get ready for work in the morning. Since I no longer work the typical 9-to-5 job, I have more freedom should I want to, say, stay in my pajamas or lululemon capris all day. While I do take advantage of that benefit of working at home, at least three days out of the week I have meetings, events or other functions during the day that I have to look alive for.

Merry Christmas Eve!! My favorite holiday is finally here tomorrow and I couldn’t be more excited about it. We’ll be having a pretty typical Christmas day: wake up, eat a big feast of a breakfast, then open gifts! After spending the morning and early afternoon at home, we’ll head to our family friend’s house for another fun party. That’s what I love about the holidays, there’s always a celebration!
