How was everyone’s Christmas? Did you get what you wanted? More importantly, did you eat all you wanted? ;) Those are obviously the more fun parts of this cheerful holiday, but don’t forget why we celebrate it!

I guess I’m pretty lucky that I don’t have to rush to get ready for work in the morning. Since I no longer work the typical 9-to-5 job, I have more freedom should I want to, say, stay in my pajamas or lululemon capris all day. While I do take advantage of that benefit of working at home, at least three days out of the week I have meetings, events or other functions during the day that I have to look alive for. Even though I’ve donated or consigned most of my old workwear, I do like to throw a new professional piece into the mix every now and then. One of the latest that will take me right through spring includes this Rag & Bone blazer! In a soft pink shade (they call it Antique Rose), it’s an elevated, chic update on the classic jacket. This blazer actually has a matching pair of trousers, but in order to keep the look young and fresh, I’ve paired it back with my favorite Zero+Maria Cornejo joggers. The look is put together and sophisticated, but still me!

Speaking of Rag & Bone, I recently scored this pair of jeans for $84 – I’m actually shocked they’re still available (and at that price!!). The polka-dot paint splatter is fun and unique, and looks super adorable with everything. A few other great Rag & Bone finds to discover: this lace print sleeveless blouse (gorgeous under a blazer!), this striped mini, and these high-rise distressed skinny jeans. I’m also loving this new bag style – the perfect pop of red!
