Since last Friday, Dallas has had unusually amazing weather. I’m talking no clouds in the sky, 70 degrees out weather! It really put me in the spring mind set, even though I’m jetting off to NYC for fashion week today. It’s snowing there right this second, so pray that my flight doesn’t get delayed or cancelled! Although I can’t break out my favorite spring basics just yet, I can brighten up other areas of my life: my home, for example. Seeing that I spend so much time in my own abode (I work from home), I feel like I should add some color to keep the space happy and alive. I’d love to pick up a few fun pillows (drooling over this tasseled one) and perhaps a new colorful tray (gimme this!) to freshen up my living room.

The next time I move (which will likely be at the tail end of 2015), I would be so thrilled to add a few fun rugs into the mix.
