Spring, like most seasons in Dallas, comes with its fair share of surprises. One day the sun will be shining and the birds will be chirping, and the next you’ll be taking cover from a monster of a monsoon. The weather here really is unpredictable! With that being said, I love to dress for the season, even if it’s not weather appropriate sometimes. For example, this week it’s pretty gloomy and stormy, with chillier temps than we’ve had in weeks. I’m not about to pull out my big sweaters again, so instead, I layer. This nude jacket is one I picked up by Vince with some money I got for Christmas, and it’s been a necessity in my closet this season. The neutral color makes it versatile, and it’s pretty light, making this jacket a great travel partner and go-to for those temperamental temperature days. The drape-front and leather sleeves on the jacket lend an elevated touch, don’t you think? If you’re looking for a similar jacket at a lower price, this one is my favorite (also available here). I have it in blue, but the nude color has been getting rave reviews too (also available here)!

Another piece for the days you want to dress for spring but the weather prevents you from doing so, is a good pair of white jeans. This pair is my favorite right now. These jeans are skinny all the way down to the ankle, and high-waisted. If you’re not a fan of high-waisted jeans, I’ve heard a lot of good things about this pair by FRAME.
