Okay, so I don’t really have any meetings today, but it’s always fun to dress the part, right? Silk blouses are my go-to for the everyday here in Dallas, and as I’ve professed on here before, Equipment is my favorite. I own many an Equipment blouse, but the one I reach for most is this classic sleeveless style. It’s particularly great for Texas summers, because it’s so lightweight! Over the weekend I was perusing NET-A-PORTER and came across this short-sleeve version of the same staple shirt. I snapped it up ASAP. Equipment blouses are polished and simple, easy to style and very comfortable any time of year. They also make amazing layering pieces with sweaters, vests and other items. The ideal blouses for work, weekend or travel – if you haven’t tried out an Equipment for yourself, you’re missing out!

A few other Equipment styles you’ve gotta see this season: these chic striped pajamas (yes, please!), this tuxedo-inspired pintuck shirt, and the perfect nude blouse. I’m also dying to try out their new cotton shirts (like this one)!

PS – I’m so excited that my friend Mara is in town! She’s staying with me from now until Sunday, and I’m looking forward to taking her to my favorite restaurants and Dallas spots while she’s here! We’ll be going to rewardStyle‘s 3rd annual conference this weekend at The Joule, so I’m also eager to catch up with all my other blogger buddies that will be here for the festivities.
