Hope your week is going well so far! As you know, my friend Mara is in town visiting from LA this week. Because the weather was so lovely yesterday, we enjoyed lunch outside at The Porch, then spent a few hours window shopping and perusing the goods at Highland Park Village, followed by a long walk on the Katy Trail. Last night we grabbed dinner with my mom (who is also in town!) at Shinsei. If you love sushi and delicious cocktails, you MUST try Shinsei. You should also note that they have a special of half-priced bottles of wine on Monday!

If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know I wore this super fun off-the-shoulder red number to dinner last night (see the pic here!). This adorable dress is unbelievably under $75. But you better believe it. Some other ASOS frocks that have caught my attention lately include this embroidered linen dress (ideal for this upcoming crawfish broils), this gorgeous nude floral number, and this classic striped dress for those hot summer days.
