Yesterday was my last day in NYC, so in addition to a couple meetings, I squeezed in a few more hours of shopping! Part of this shopping trip was spent in Valentino’s huge boutique on 5th. Since I’m a shoe freak, I headed to the back of the store where an array of rockstuds were waiting for me. But instead, what drew me in was a pair of leather embroidered espadrilles (if you’re in the UK, buy them here!).

The pair I saw obsessed over in the store does not have an ankle strap, and the shoe shape is a bit different from the ones above, but the embroidery and color scheme is identical! Now that I’m back in Texas and have had time to search for them online, I am really regretting not snagging them in the store. They are either going to be exclusive to the Valentino boutiques, or are not yet online – insert angry face emoji here. I mean, they are so cute. I’m going to keep my eye out for that style, but this pair is just as pretty! The ankle strap detail makes these comfortable flat shoes a little more elegant for nighttime wear – the perfect pair for summer!
