I realized it’s been ages since I’ve done a Saturday Savings post! Things have been crazier than normal around here. I’m not sure if that’s because I’m only home for what seems like one week at a time, or I’m doing more outside the house now that it’s no longer frigid. I’ve also been spending a ton of my time researching and planning various trips, excursions and activities for my European adventure this fall.

In addition to me wanting to get the most out of my stay in London, I also have a number of friends and family visiting me while I’m over there. A few have never been to London, so I’m booking some fun touristy stuff for us to do (like touring the inside of Buckingham Palace – you can only do this in August and September!), as well as several day-long excursions outside the city to Stonehenge, Windsor Castle, Bath, the Cotswalds, and more.

While I’ll be enjoying all that England has to offer, I’ll also be hopping over to several other European destinations throughout my tour abroad. Ones that are already booked include Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands and Italy. I’m also hoping to do some longer weekend trips to Paris, Scotland and Ireland (all of which I’ve visited before). Needless to say, it’s quite a lot to plan and get finalized before I leave in July. So, my apologies for the lack of sale posts!!
