pink pop July 15, 2015Dallas I’ll be the first one to admit that bright pink is NOT my color. I love all shades of blush (that, you already know), but other than that, I don’t own a lot of items in the pink department. Not to over share, but I used to associate the color with PeptoBismal, which I had an unfortunate experience with as a child. You can call it an aversion or whatever, but for YEARS, I refused to buy or wear pink. Since I’m now an adult (for arguments sake, let’s just say I am), I’m slowly dipping my feet back into the water… every now and then I’ll see a pink piece I really love, but just don’t pull the trigger. This purchase, however, was easy. This dress is under $120 and in a classic shift silhouette. Because it’s solid and unmarked by embellishments or extra details, it’s a simple style that will be easy to wear and re-wear over and over again with different accessories. This inexpensive number is a wonderful option for a more casual engagement party or rehearsal dinner, or just a fun option for a night out with the girls (or a date!). I love pairing it with another bright shade like my turquoise ODLR earrings – both colors do a great job of making each other pop, don’t you think? { photography by Stephanie Drenka } Dress: Blaque Label, Bag: Furla (old – similar here), Shoes: Proenza Schouler (old – similar here), Earrings: Oscar de la Renta (exact pair not available, but loving this shorter style and this lime green color!), Rings: Ippolita and BaubleBar (old – similar here), Nails: Vinylux in Romantique Shop The Post Turn on your JavaScript to view content Share Subscribe ➞ Dress: Blaque Label, Bag: Furla (old – similar here), Shoes: Proenza Schouler (old – similar here), Earrings: Oscar de la Renta (exact pair not available, but loving this shorter style and this lime green color!), Rings: Ippolita and BaubleBar (old – similar here), Nails: Vinylux in Romantique Shop The Post Turn on your JavaScript to view content Share Subscribe ➞ 21 comments Rachel says: July 15, 2015 at 9:40 am The pink + blue is so beautiful together – also love the touch of metallic with the clutch!
