Today is the day, people! By 11am GMT I will have landed at London Heathrow to begin what is sure to be one of the best times of my life. Over the next four months I’ll be embracing life in London and exploring Europe as much as possible. I hope you’ll follow along on here and my Instagram for an inside look at where I’m going, what I’m up to, and any treasures I find along the way.
I noticed this sequined “London” sweater was majorly marked down during NET-A-PORTER’s End of Season Sale last month and couldn’t check out without it. I embrace the cheesy. I was elated to find such a perfect piece to commemorate the start of what I’m sure is going to be an exciting and fulfilling adventure. While the sweater’s message is obviously appropriate, the designer is actually London-based himself!
If you are unfamiliar with Markus Lupfer, he created quite a name for himself designing cheeky sweaters and tees, usually with pretty embellishments like beading and sequins. While he also designs adorable separates and a fun line of footwear, it’s his sweaters that I love the most! There are a bunch of cute styles on sale, including this pale pink surfboard + VW van pullover, this camera sweater, this beautifully bright hibiscus sweater and this tribal elephant knit. You may have also seen his sequin lips sweaters – they come in pretty much every color combo you can think of. Click here to shop all his chic knits!
