For some reason, I only packed five dresses for my four months in London. I’m not sure what I was thinking. I mostly have jeans, sweaters, tops and jackets. Not a whole lotta variety there! I had a similar problem last week with shorts…
Luckily, my first purchase over here was a cute new dress! I found this little number on sale at Claudie Pierlot. Since I was digging the somewhat schoolgirl vibe of this dress, I went ahead and layered my new Theory blouse underneath to complete the look. When it gets cooler out, I’ll switch that out for a long-sleeved blouse and tights. I think it will be such an adorable year-round piece!
If you aren’t already familiar, Claudie Pierlot is a French womenswear label known for sweet, feminine pieces. A few new fall arrivals I have my eye on include this lace + ruffle dress, this tartan jacket, and this delicately ruffled blouse. Definitely a brand to check out if you’re ever over in London or Paris!

Hi Lindsay! Yes, totally comfortable! The leather is super pliable and stretchy, so they kinda melt around your feet. I went up nearly one whole size though – they run small! Hope that helps! xx, Merritt
