Y’all. It is COLD in Krakow. And per usual, I did not pack the right stuff. I had heard it’s been an extremely hot summer here, so I brought only two light sweaters and a leather jacket as heavier options. Luckily, I also brought my cozy Heidi Wynne scarf to add another layer, but when the sun isn’t out, it’s just not enough!

It really is beautiful here though – I can’t wait to show you all my pictures from it!As someone who is a self-proclaimed history buff, this Krakow has been totally up my alley. Yesterday I took a free walking tour of the Jewish Quarter and former Ghetto – our guide was a history major, focusing on Polish history, AND he actually lives in the Jewish Quarter today, so he had a lot of great tidbits and facts to share. Today I’m going on a tour of Auschwitz-Berkinau… I’m expecting it to be a pretty heavy day, so I haven’t planned anything else for this afternoon. Our guide yesterday told me where to buy the best pierogies (I love all forms of dumplings), so I’m saving that for tonight in case I need a little cheering up.

Tomorrow (my last day) I’m hoping to hit up Wawel Castle and the museum at Oskar Schindler’s Factory. I’ll keep you updated and be sure to share my favorite things in a city guide soon! In the meantime, you’ll have my Prague city guide to keep you entertained this Thursday. Stay tuned!
