Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2016 | The Style Scribe

I don’t know why, but I always have a much harder time narrowing down my favorite looks from the London-based designers. When combing through NYFW collections, I usually find one or two pieces I obsess over and the other items in the collections just seem to fall short. Anyone else feel that way? When perusing the looks from all the London designers though, I can’t get enough. I love every single look!

For example, why don’t we take a look at the Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2016 collection. This season hit so many high notes it’s tough to point them all out! Clearly I have a soft spot for the smart little mini dresses that graced the runway, but the outerwear is spot on too. A few of my favorites (which you can pre-order now!) include this tiered Chantilly lace shift (worn over a nude slip), this pleated military cape and this macrame and mesh fitted trench. Also, can we talk about this bag? Dying. Check out Moda Operandi’s trunk show to see all of the items available for pre-order!

Roksanda Spring/Summer 2016 | The Style Scribe

The modern, feminine silhouettes at Roksanda are always a treat for the eyes. Innovative details like blown-up sleeves, ruffle-adorned pants, and sweet puckered necklines on jumpsuits make each item extraordinary. If you’ve seen her pieces before, you know Roksanda is not afraid to play with color! This season is no different. Unexpected combos like sky blue + citrus and blush + yellow are a refreshing update to your typical whites and brights for spring/summer. Shop some of my favorite fall Roksanda pieces here! If you need some inspiration, this dress and this one are my faves.

Mary Katrantzou Spring/Summer 2016 | The Style Scribe

Mary Katrantzou has long been an advocate for prints – sometimes wild, sometimes subdued, but always eye-catching and glamorous. This season saw more of a boho vibe, with chunky jeweled and mirrored pieces, metallic woven fabrics and funky mixed prints. Oh, and chokers are back! Shop Mary Katrantzou Fall/Winter ’15 here and here!

Emilia Wickstead Spring / Summer 2016 | The Style Scribe

Emilia Wickstead is a woman after my own heart. Retro-chic, sophisticated ensembles with the girly-girl in mind. Feminine florals, powder pinks and other pastel hues in her signature old-school glamour silhouettes make this spring collection one to covet. I really hope to see that floral gown on a red carpet this spring! So stunning. Shop more Emilia Wickstead here! How awesome would this coat look this winter?

Peter Pilotto Spring/Summer 2016 | The Style Scribe

Another designer known to do prints impeccably is Peter Pilotto, but this season the collection seems to have shifted away from that a bit. While prints were still incorporated (love the tiered lace dress on the far right!), it was the subtle details like mini ruffles and layered lace that captured my attention. The pieces were sweet and delicate – exactly what you want during those hotter months! Shop the current collection here.

Simone Rocha Spring/Summer 2016 | The Style Scribe

A collection that will bridge the divide between winter and spring seamlessly is that of Simone Rocha. The colors she dreamed up for this collection are incredibly transitional – I can see these pieces being worn mid-Spring and mid-Fall. So useful! Volume has been a major player for Rocha’s collections for the past few seasons, and is continued here in the fuller skirts you see here. That green dress though… #need. Shop more Simone Rocha pieces (like this winter-ready plaid dress) here.

Erdem Spring/Summer 2016 | The Style Scribe

Victorian necklines and luscious lace come to life in Erdem’s “prairie madness”-inspired collection for spring/summer. It’s impossible to choose a favorite from this season, but one I could totally see myself in is that white number on the far left. So dreamy, right? The sleeves are everything. Shop Erdem’s fall/winter collection here and here! I would love to get my hands on this floral silk-organza cape. Stunning!
