As someone who wears Burberry a lot and is a huge fan of the British label, it was nothing short of a dream to attend the Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2016 runway show! Not only was I invited, I got a seat! I was seated just a couple rows behind Anna Wintour, and directly across of the A-list front row celebrities – we’re talking Sienna Miller, Kate Moss, Cara Delevingne, Suki Waterhouse and Benedict Cumberbatch. It was unbelievable.

Celebrities and editors aside, the venue was breathtaking. Burberry is notorious for putting on an elaborate production for their runway shows, and this season was no different. There was a 32-piece orchestra with Alison Moyet singing, and it was housed in a large, open-space structure right in the heart of Kensington. The show lasted about 20 minutes, which is significantly longer than any other show I’ve ever attended. The whole collection was brilliant (I shared my favorites from the collection here).

Seeing as this was such a monumental moment in my fashion blogging career, I went out and picked up this┬ábeautiful dress from Burberry Prorsum’s Fall/Winter ’15 collection for the show. It’s a keepsake I’ll treasure for years to come – every time I wear it I’ll be able to look back and remember this incredible time! Plus, the combo of lace and the burgundy/navy color scheme will be a wonderful addition to my fall/winter wardrobe year after year. If you love Burberry as much as I do, you may be interested to learn you can pre-order pieces from the Spring/Summer ’16 collection on Moda Operandi this week! Below are a few more photos I snapped at the show!
