After all that’s happened over the weekend with the terrorist attacks in Paris, I decided it was time to head home. I only had three weeks left in London if I stayed through December 6th, so I figured I won’t miss too much. I just feel in times like these it’s important to be near your loved ones. I now fly home on Wednesday, so I’ve been spending the last couple days packing and planning for my departure.
While I am sad to leave London in a few days, it’s been one of the best experiences of my life. I’ve made some great friends, eaten some delicious meals, and traveled to a bunch of new places! Not to mention getting to explore every inch of London! I’m also really looking forward to spending the holidays at home with my family and friends, catching up on everyone’s lives while I’ve been away, and getting back into things in Dallas. If you hadn’t seen my Facebook or Snapchat posts, I’m hiring someone in January!
It’s been nearly five years (in January) since I started this blog, and from day one I’ve done the whole thing solo. I’ve never hired an intern or had any help. While that has been incredibly gratifying, there are a bunch of things I want to improve and expand on, but just haven’t had the time! I’m hoping by adding a person to my team it will help me focus on the bigger picture and provide you with better (AND MORE!) content on all of my channels. And who knows? Maybe I’ll get into video… With that said, I’m eager to get home so I can get things together and ready for interviews I’ve scheduled thus far. I already have 16 interviews lined up!
PS – my computer puttered out over the weekend, so I’m currently typing from a borrowed computer. I’m trying to figure out how to get an EDIT done for tomorrow without all the tools I usually use – so please don’t hold it against me if you see something other than your favorite series on Tuesday!
Thank you all for your continued support over the years – it means the world to me to have such amazing readers! Excited for the next chapter!

I thought of you when I heard about Paris. I’m glad you are going to be able to come home and see your family. You’re so right, when things like this happen you want to be near those you love. How exciting to be adding someone to your blog team! It’s hard to keep up with content and feel like you can think about new ways to expand. I love this dress on you!

For some reason your posts aren’t showing up in my bloglovin’! Your travel over the last few months looks like an incredible experience and I can understand though why you decided to cut it short. PS That dress is stunning.
