Happy Monday y’all! Hope you had a great weekend. This week I’m going to be working on my second video for my new YouTube channel – I can’t wait to get started! This one will be a makeup tutorial for THREE gorgeous beauty looks for Valentine’s Day date night. They’re really easy too. So subscribe to my channel and stay tuned!

These Sergio Rossi boots have been the best investment I’ve made this season. And while they were still an investment, I DID get them on sale. I wear them almost daily (except when it’s raining)! They go with everything in my closet, from super wintery, all-black looks, to more transitional winter-to-spring neutrals like this outfit. The cognac color is just so rich and perfect. I’ve definitely gotten my money’s worth with these over-the-knee boots!

While I’m all about key investment pieces, with so much going on this year, I’m also picking up more inexpensive pieces here and there. Now that I’m paying someone else in addition to myself, I can’t just spend money on whatever I want. It’s kind of a tough transition, but it’s a great lesson in budgeting each month. I’m also now looking at buying a house later this year, so I’m saving for that as well. I feel like such a grown up! Yikes.

What have been your investment pieces this year? What are you willing to spend less on? Any tips for me?
