It’s a little crazy this is the first real outfit post I’m doing featuring this sweater. I wear it SO MUCH. It’s been featured twice on my most recent Insta Outfit Recap, so don’t miss that post for some extra outfit inpso! It’s a great basic in a classic neutral color anyone can wear. It doesn’t hurt that the sweater recently got marked down to only $46… and it comes in two other pretty colors as well! You all know how much I love turtlenecks, but I really do prefer this mock neck style to a true turtleneck. The reason being that turtlenecks often mess up my hair when it’s down. With a mock neck style, I get the comfort of a turtleneck without the fabric brushing up against my hair and causing all kinds of static or crimping problems.

Lucky for me, this style has become quite popular so there are a bunch of great sweaters to choose from! I picked up this sweater earlier this season, this lilac sweater would look gorgeous with white jeans for spring, and this black top would make another amazing closet staple. The mock neck style can also be found for a modern warm-weather look too – this sleeveless ribbed top is a sleek option for summer, as is this coral crepe shift.
