Happy Friday, y’all! Hope your week has been a great one. After a jam-packed last three weeks, I’m FINALLY looking forward to a couple days where I have absolutely no plans. The only thing I do plan on doing tomorrow is sleeping in. It’s going to be glorious! Do you have any big plans for the weekend?

If you followed my New York trip via SnapChat (username: merrittbeck), you’ve seen this bag. It’s pretty much replaced my old Smythson tote that I’ve sported nearly every day for the past two years. While it’s not a traditional tote, this bucket bag is really spacious on the inside and has room for everything! It makes an excellent travel bag, while still being so chic and on trend. While the bucket bag has been a huge hit over the last year or so, if you buy it in a subtle neutral like black, the look will stand the test of time. Just like these mules! This style has been on the rise recently, but I won’t be putting them away at the end of summer – they will be one of my go-to transitional shoes for fall. They are so comfortable, even with that heel! Even if you are trying a trend, turn it into a classic by buying it in a versatile, sophisticated color.
