I’m the first person to admit I don’t go to mall stores. It’s not often I find a bunch of pieces I like at places like the GAP, but while at NorthPark a few weeks back, I decided to stop in for a peek. As you’ve seen on my SnapChat (username: merrittbeck), I’ve had difficulty finding denim I like lately. I feel like the fabric is getting thinner and thinner – anyone else? I ordered several pairs of white jeans from Shopbop recently and they were all super sheer. I also really love the look of raw-hem jeans, but each pair I order is shorter than the last! It’s disappointing!
Anyway, I saw a denim jacket I liked in the window at GAP and popped in. I discovered an array of great denim styles, so I grabbed a few pairs and hit the dressing room. Much to my surprise, I found a pair of raw-hem skinnies that don’t look like high-waters on me, AND the perfect pair of distressed blue jeans. I was elated! Both pairs are under $100 too, and you really can’t beat that. I’ve been l-i-v-i-n-g in this pair. I’m actually wearing them as I type this post. They are so comfortable and don’t feature the crazy stretchy fabric you’re starting to see everywhere, so they don’t stretch out when you’re wearing them.
Needless to say I’m pleased with my recent experience at the GAP. I highly recommend checking out their latest denim – it’s all great!

Gap jeans are all I wear, they beat most designer jeans for a fraction of the price. Love the high stretch and stretch line.

I had a pair of Gap jeans years ago that I loved! Unfortunately, I grew out of that pair :( I haven’t been back but I will need to go check it out!

I’ll never turn down a great pair of jeans! I actually scooped up a denim jacket at the Gap the other week and it’s the perfect wash and fit. Love how you styled this look. So easy and effortless :)

I have always had a love for Gap jeans, they do a great BF and slouchy styles because its mostly real denim and not as much cotton! This is such a cute look!
