While I love the color yellow, the deeper shade of marigold is not a color I have in my closet. I literally had nothing in this color before a few weeks ago. While doing some last minute shopping for Hawaii last month, I saw this top in the window at Free People at NorthPark. Something about the bold shade paired with a romantic floral print really captured my attention.

I normally wouldn’t choose something this “booby” (yikes), but I loved the length and cut of this top! I ended up not wearing in Hawaii, but instead wore it to happy hour last weekend here in Dallas, just as I’ve styled it here. I think it’s a refreshing pop of color to my white summer wardrobe, don’t you?

I see myself wearing this top a lot as the temps rise even higher here in Texas, perhaps with my favorite boyfriend shorts! It’s perfectly breezy for even the hottest days. If marigold isn’t your color, this top comes in three other variations. Did I mention it’s only $88? Win.
