How do you feel about your hair? Everyone has their own personal critiques and opinions about their own hair, and seeing celebrities, models and bloggers all dolled up with perfect hair on Instagram and SnapChat obviously doesn’t help. Personally, I wish my hair were a bit thicker – on the flip side, women with thick hair often complain about frizziness or the length of time it takes to blow-dry and style their tresses. The grass is always greener, right?
Instead of thinking about what your hair lacks, why not celebrate why it’s beautiful? One thing I love about my hair is the bright blonde color. While I am a natural blonde (my eyelashes and brows are white!!), my locks are not this platinum on their own. I go to my fave guy Monte Fagin in Dallas at Osgood O’Neil Salon, who brightens up the blonde in the best way. Because I’m already so blonde, I don’t have to worry about root growth very often, which makes it very low maintenance.
Another thing I love is how quick my beauty + hair routine is. It takes me about five minutes to blow dry my whole head! My makeup routine takes about 15 minutes, so once I’m out of the shower, I can honestly get completely ready in 20 minutes. It makes those early meetings, travel mornings, etc super easy and brainless. I wouldn’t trade that for anything!
Dove Hair is on a mission to broaden the definition of beautiful hair by celebrating all hair types, textures, colors and styles, and inspiring women to do the same. I’d love to hear from y’all about what you love about your hair! Share what makes yours beautiful in the comment section below and be sure to check out this film from Dove Hair and get inspired on their Pinterest to show off your own beautiful tresses!

So gorg! Love this!
My hair takes at least 20 minutes to blow dry and style, such a hassle so most days I revert to a top knot. I definitely wish I could style my hair in 5 minutes!! you have beautiful hair!

My eyelashes and brows are very light (I call them clear), too. What do you use for your brow color? For years I went without doing anything to them…I guess on the plus side of having invisible brows is less plucking/shaping. Your hair is lovely!
I use a shadow and eyeliner brush to fill them in – it’s one color from a NARS palette I bought last year that’s a good cooler brown hue. Hope that helps! xx, M
I can’t believe it only takes you five minutes to blow dry your hair – that is mind blowing to me – as my thick hair usually takes about 20+. But like you said, people with thinner hair often want thicker..and vise versa.
Im curious, if your eyebrows and and eyelashes are blond – do you tint them? I have light brown eyebrows and have considered tinting them but never done it before. Would love to know if you have tried it/suggest it? Or do you just use eyebrow pencils etc. to add definition?

I actually don’t tint them, but instead use a shadow and eyeliner brush to fill them in – it’s one color from a NARS palette I bought last year that’s a good cooler brown hue. The reason I don’t tint mine is because the color ends up too warm (almost looks red!). Hope that helps! xx, M
Love this post!!! I feel the same way — wish my hair was thicker, but I wouldn’t give up how easy it is to style for anything! xo
