I’m always down for a simple, all-black outfit, but sometimes you just need to throw in a pop of color. I’m actually super surprised how much I’ve used this scarf since I purchased it back in February. Here’s another example of how I styled it. It’s added the perfect accent to my go-to neutral ensembles this spring/summer! This is the type of outfit you can find me in on any given day throughout the year, give or take a few layers. It keeps me comfortable as I sit at my desk, but I look stylish and refined should any meetings or events pop up throughout the day.
The best part about this outfit is how you can recreate it at home with pieces you already own. Grab a black sleeveless top, your favorite black skinnies and an equally bright and colorful silk scarf (also love this one for white outfits!) to tie the look together! See what I did there? ;)

Equipment makes such perfect silk blouses. Love this sleeveless version, and of course I love the all black ensemble. A colorful scarf is a lovely way to add a pop especially for gals like me who barely ever wear color. Gorgeous as always, Merritt!

I have 3+ silk scarfs from my mom in my closet..but I never wear them very often. I guess it just doesn’t really cross my mind/I am never sure how to wear them. So glad I saw this – inspiration to break them out soon and wear them more often! Great outfit!
