As Allison mentioned in this post, it’s important to own dresses that can be worn to brunch. Who wants to suck in after eating a big meal? Not me. I actually feel this way about every meal, considering how much volume of food it takes to make me full! Whether I’m eating a plate of veggies or a bowl of mac & cheese, I just need volume. Portion control is not my strong suit. Luckily this dress works with my eating habits ;)

In addition to this shift being a fantastic fit (I’m wearing a medium and typically wear a size 6 in dresses), I love the subtle details that keep it current and on trend. The tie-front neckline and cute fringe hems add a little something extra, don’t you think? I think it’ll be adorable with a leather jacket and booties come September/October, making it transitional too! For now, I’m pairing it with my pom pom sandals and crossbody for casual summer days. Ideal for brunch, shopping with friends or an easy date night dinner!

You may remember the J.O.A. brand from this post in Miami? It’s an inexpensive line featuring fresh takes on current trends – the dress I’m wearing is only $80! Such. A. Steal. I’ve only ever ordered those two pieces from the brand, but the fit and quality of both is fab!
