Leather Loafers | The Style Scribe

When I travel, I try to walk as much as possible. It’s my favorite way to take in a city! It’s the best way to get acquainted with your surroundings, find restaurants and feel like you live there. New York City is super walkable, but during fashion week you will find most show-goers in sky high heels. You definitely don’t want to walk as much when you’ve got on stilettos! Because I only had one show a day, I wasn’t subjected to high heels all day long (hallelujah!) and had plenty of time to walk around the Big Apple. Whenever I had the opportunity, I pulled out this pair of Tibi loafers. They are SO comfortable and are easily my new favorite travel shoe.

The Tibi Cecil loafers are chic and modern, giving jeans a sartorial, elevated look and adding a relaxed vibe to my favorite dresses. On Wednesday I paired them with this off-the-shoulder top, these jeans and my black Chanel tote for a casual-meets-cool vibe for a work meeting. I also wore them last Thursday for my airplane outfit! For a dressier look this fall/winter, try the velvet pair for a new take on the smoking slipper.
