Trying A Trend: Crop Flares | The Style Scribe

As I mentioned last week, I still have a few outfits left from New York – here’s the first one. If there’s ever a time to try a wild trend, it’s at New York Fashion Week! I saw these pants over on Revolve a week before I left for New York, and ordered them immediately. I have yet to try the crop flare denim trend that’s huge right now, but these looked a little more special and fun to me. I thought they would make a great cocktail pant for holiday parties with a fun top, don’t you? They look amazing with pumps and heeled sandals, and really elongate your legs. Certainly not a style I plan to wear every day, but they make a fun statement for a night out!

A few other cropped flare styles I’m loving for fall winter are this coated pair by AG, Hudson’s raw-hem jeans, and this embellished pair of pants from Tibi. So gorgeous! Have you tried this trend yet? What are your thoughts?
