unexpected holiday traditions

Instead of giving my friends random gifts each year, I like to give holiday ornaments. It’s something people don’t always think to get for themselves, they tend to be pretty inexpensive, and you can get really creative and fun with it! In addition to just buying pretty ornaments online, I like to buy them when I travel too, so I can have an assortment to choose from by the end of the year. Some of the ornaments I gift are silly (little wine glasses with fake red wine in them – my friends LOVED those), while others would make a stunning addition to any tree. It’s an unexpected holiday tradition that I’ve really loved doing each year! This season I found these little macaron ornaments that I’ll be handing out to all my besties. Aren’t they adorable? Buy a box or two and give one macaron to each friend!

I’m not very good at gift wrapping to be perfectly honest, but I do love doing it! Wrapping presents gets me in the holiday spirit and gives me an excuse to throw on my coziest sweater and leggings, turn on some Christmas music and enjoy a class of vino by the fire. Is there anything better?!
