Leave it to me to start the new year off with a really bad pun, but I just love this bag so much! The gold ring on this Theory Whitney bag is a fresh, special touch that’s not only chic, but actually useful. Instead of shoving a clutch under your armpit, you can just wear it on your arm at a party! It also comes with a cross-body strap, which makes it ideal for traveling too. Such a functional bag! Unfortunately my black one is sold out, but it comes in cognac, light blue leather (so pretty for spring!) or two suede options. There’s also a croc-embossed black style! So many choices!

Another new purchase I’m thrilled about wearing into the new year is this Victorian-inspired blouse. I adore the dainty buttons and subtle ruffle trim, don’t you? This blouse would shine at the office, but I love wearing it with jeans and leather pants at night. It’s just a great everyday top you can wear year-round. Now that’s what I call an essential! Did I mention this beauty is on sale?
