If you’ve been following on SnapChat at all, you’re bound to have seen a few videos and pictures of the construction going on at my new house! Things are moving along quickly, which you just know I’m absolutely thrilled about. Earlier this week I met with the superintendent and electrician to go over lighting, and next week we’re getting together to talk cabinets and the layout for my closet. FINALLY to the fun stuff! I mean, it’s all been fun – but, you know what I mean. It’s been so much fun actually seeing this project come to life!
I’m also making a lot of progress regarding the interior design, thanks to Maddie Hughes! We’ve got a lot of the furniture picked out for the living room, office and master, but we still haven’t quite figured out the dining room. And of course, there are a bunch of extra details that we may need to consider once I actually move in and get a feel for the place. I may want to make some changes before even ordering everything, who knows! Even though we’re still awhile off from those things, I did want to share some photos of the construction and progress up to this point. Can’t wait to share more as we go along! Happy weekend!
PS – you’ve probably seen me obsess over this sweater already on SnapChat, but it is SO SOFT! I loved it so much, I wore it three times in one week when I first bought it. Luckily a cold front had just rolled in – it was ideal for those really chilly days! It also comes in a light pink, which I also ordered, but I’m not sure it’s the best color on me. I may end up returning it, but if you love pink, you’ll love it! If your size in grey is sold out on Nordstrom, it’s also available here. One more thing worth mentioning: it’s under $80.
