Is it really March already?! I can’t believe how fast this year has been flying by. I will say I’m pretty happy February is over. Why, you ask? I was sick the entire month. Honestly, I’ve been sick since the middle of January. If you don’t follow on SnapChat, you may have missed it… I’ve been battling everything from sinus infections to tonsillitis over the last five weeks and am SO ready to feel like myself again. I finally have an appointment scheduled with an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist for early next week, so hopefully he’ll be able to identify and cure whatever ails me.

Pity party aside, I’m really excited for this month. Not because I have anything particularly exciting planned, but I feel like it’s finally appropriate to start pulling out those spring items here in Texas. We’ve been blessed with unseasonably warm weather over the last month, but I just didn’t feel right going into full spring mode in February. It’s technically still winter, after all. One item I’m excited to style again is my all-time favorite pair of white skinny jeans. While I certainly don’t mind white jeans in winter, there’s something so fun and refreshing to pull them out at the start of a new spring season. It’s sort of like a palette cleanser, don’t you think?

I’ve recently received a couple questions about how to style stark white jeans while it’s still a little chilly out, so I hope this outfit will help answer that! My suggestion for transitioning those white jeans is by pairing them with a cozy sweater in a soft neutral like pale grey, camel, blush, etc. This sweater in particular is a great option for this transitional period – it’s cut in a relaxed, off-shoulder style which is perfect for showing just a touch of skin this time of year. For Dallas, my new (sale find – similar here) Aquazzura sandals work well with this outfit, but if you live somewhere with a more biting climate, a pair of ankle boots would complete this look and make it weather appropriate.

PS – both my sweater and jeans can be snagged up to 25% off today and tomorrow with code GOBIG17 at checkout! Shop some of my spring/summer sale favorites in this post.
