choosing the right pair

Sunglasses are some of my favorite accessories to shop for, anyone else? They instantly transform your look and add personality to even the most simple outfits. I feel like I have a pretty good balance of everyday sunglasses and statement pairs, but I’m always on the hunt for stylish new pairs that will complement my face shape and give me a way to mix up my look on the reg. I have a pretty round face and high cheek bones, so I usually opt for larger lens styles so the bottom doesn’t hit the top of my cheek bone directly. For example, aviators generally don’t work on me because each time I smile they pop up a few inches! They just hit my cheeks in the wrong spot. Rounded square styles and subtle cat-eye silhouettes are often what look best on me. If you’re like me, you probably try on every pair in the store just to see if you can make that new trendy style work, but revert back to old faithful when it comes to purchasing!
