If you’re new to my little corner on the internet, welcome! For those of you who don’t already know, I started a newsletter-exclusive last year entitled Beck and Call. This feature answers four real reader questions each week and features a variety of topics! Lately I’ve received more and more questions focused on workwear, so I thought I’d touch on that in today’s blog post! While I definitely don’t have to get dressed up to go into an office every day, I do like to keep a few sophisticated styles on hand should any important meetings, conferences or other events pop up. One of the more recent pieces I’ve picked up is this linen utility dress! It also comes in this color, but I’m loving the perfect-for-fall color of the one I purchased. This particular shade is called “wine time”, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! The silhouette is elegant and appropriate for the office, and I love the flattering belted waist. It’s also the perfect fabric and weight for the hotter-than-hot temps we’ve been having here in Texas! I imagine it’ll still be quite useful over the next month and a half as the weather continues to fluctuate. It’s the ideal transitional style you can wear from work to wining and dining!
