Unless this is your first time reading my blog, you’ll likely already know two things about my style: I live in neutrals and I love ruffles. A couple months back I noticed my fall/winter boot collection lacked lighter neutrals like grey and beige, so set my sights on finding a couple pairs to add some variety this season. The first pair I picked up was this smooth leather pair in a dark beige (see them in an outfit here). They look amazing with my favorite camel bag by Givenchy, as well as this new tote I picked up! With that pair I satisfied my craving for nude/beige, but I was still on the hunt for a grey shade when I found this ruffled pair. The color is divine, and the ruffle detail was screaming out to me as if they were made for me! The heel is pretty high, so it’s not a boot you’ll find me walking around all day in… even though they’re pretty comfortable. It’s such a cute style for lunch/brunch with friends, happy hour, dinner, or any other get together! I also love how they match my new Celine bag perfectly! Match made in heaven.

I also wanted to point out the sweater I’m wearing. It’s a favorite I picked up last year from Club Monaco, and it was such a popular style they brought it back again this year! The scalloped edges add such an elegant, feminine touch, don’t you think? The mock neck style is comfortable and the light cashmere weight is warm without being stifling. A great piece you can tuck into skirts or trousers for work too! This season it comes in these three gorgeous neutrals. Did I mention it’s a piece for all ages? My mom and grandmother both own it too!
