Did you guys enjoy my first holiday gift guide of the season yesterday? I’m so pumped it’s finally time for holiday content. It’s my favorite time of the year! You know what else I love about this time of year? Sweater weather. It’s finally cooled down here in Dallas (well, except for yesterday’s spike), which means I’m pulling out all of my favorite new knits! One of those new sweaters is this combo piece by Veronica Beard. It is suuuuuper soft and the effortless shirt + sweater combo make styling a breeze since it’s already done for you! The shirt part is long enough to cover my butt (which I love), and I also adore the little puffed shoulders – they add a trendy, feminine touch to the look, don’t you think? I couldn’t find this exact version online (bought this at the Dallas store, so it may be an exclusive), but it does come in black, this olive-y grey and a grey one like mine with a printed shirt. For sizing, I went with a medium and the fit is great! If you have big boobs or hips like I do, I’d go up a size.

I’ve also received numerous questions about these jeans lately, and since I purchased them last year I assumed they’d sold out. I looked at my favorite haunts and couldn’t find them, but then I discovered they were still in stock here! Hooray! They’re really long, so perfect for you other tall gals. Love the dark wash for fall and the high-rise waist!

Tonight I’m grabbing dinner with my friend Emily, and tomorrow I’m going to a class at FlyWheel before grabbing a boozy brunch with some of my blogger besties. Life is all about balance, am I right? After that I’m hitting up The Boulevard to tailgate before the SMU Homecoming game! Should be a fun weekend. Hope you all have a great one!
