When I was in NYC, I had some pretty wonderful celebrity sightings… the best of which was absolutely seeing Kate Walsh of Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice as I was shooting these photos with Carter! You can see her walking out of Saint Ambrose behind me in the last pic of this post! As a longtime fan and repeat-watcher of Grey’s Anatomy, I was freaking out. Probably the best photobomb situation of all time! I also saw Liev Shreiber riding his bike later that weekend! I remember seeing another celebrity, but now I can’t remember who it was. Either way, it’s always so fun to see stars out and about!

This simple grey coat was one I snagged at Zara while doing some pre-NYC shopping with my mom in Dallas. It’s not super thick or heavy, so while not really ideal for New York, it’s great for Dallas! I wore it with my favorite basic black turtleneck (on sale!!) and skinny jeans – a super easy and comfortable look for daytime.
