Happy Friday!! One store I always like to visit when I’m in New York or London is COS. It’s a great place to go if you’re looking for versatile, functional, modern basics. Think lots of wardrobe staples like black dresses, trousers and other 9-to-5 essentials, as well as chic and timeless favorites like cashmere sweaters and stylish coats for all occasions. You’ll find the occasional print in COS, but expect mostly solids (which I appreciate)! I walked from my AirBnB in West Village all the way to SoHo for lunch, and arrived earlier than I’d planned… which left me plenty of time to pop in a few stores! On this visit to COS, the only two pieces I purchased were this cashmere jumper and matching wool skirt. I absolutely loved the soft mint green as a nice reprieve from the black and grey I wear again and again this time of year.
I’ve packed this pretty sweater to take with me to Carmel this weekend – the weather is supposed to be amazing!! A high of 67 and sunny tomorrow and Sunday – aka perfect for pulling out my favorite white skinnies to pair with a little spring color. Hope you all have a happy and safe weekend!

I love cashmere pastels this time of year. It always puts me in the mood for warmer weather to come. I also love COS for basics with an edge. I’m a no pattern girl and COS ups my fashion game, while not pushing me too far out of my comfort zone–or budget.
