One of the highlights of my recent trip to New York Fashion Week was attending a special dinner at Lela Rose’s Tribeca residence with Rachel. The intimate evening was to celebrate the influencers who participated in promoting her new fall/winter 2018 collection, one of whom was Rachel! Since each blogger was allowed to bring a guest, she invited me as a plus one! It was so cool getting to see Lela’s fabulous home and catch up with some of my favorite bloggers I hadn’t seen in awhile (like Mary and Blair – such refreshingly nice and wonderful women). My friend Amy who I traveled to Telluride with was another blogger being celebrated that evening! I knew nearly everyone who attended (including some of Lela’s employees and my friend Stevie who does the Neiman Marcus social media stuff), so it was a really fun reunion and opportunity to hear what everyone has going on this year. So thank you to Rach for inviting me, and to Lela Rose for hosting such a special event!!
As you all know, I’ve been a fan of Lela Rose fan for a long, long time. I own a number of pieces from her collections over the years, and have attended her runway show at New York Fashion week pretty much every time I’ve been. Her boutique in Highland Park Village is one of my favorites to visit when I’m shopping for something special, like a wedding, shower, etc. Her pieces exude femininity, romance and grace like no other. Sophisticated separates like this and this are ideal for work-to-weekend wear, but in my opinion, it’s her cocktail attire that sets her apart from the rest.
At the moment, these are the pieces that have completely caught my eye:
- Bride to be? Don’t miss this number – perfect for a rehearsal dinner or a dress you change into post-gown at the reception!
- The pretty top I’m wearing also comes in a tea-length dress in the same color scheme!
- I’m loving the oversized floral print on this flattering, ladylike dress. It’s truly an option you could wear spring or fall!
- The colors on this cocktail dress are to die for! Also adore the V neckline – subtle, but sexy.
- Got a black tie wedding on the books for this summer? Don’t miss this gorgeous orange column gown.
- This bow-front tunic dress is an effortless piece you could wear from day-to-night in a pinch!
- This classic silhouette in a stunning shade of solid blue is an elegant staple for all kinds of events throughout the spring/summer season.
- If you love the print on my blouse but were hoping for a more spring/summer look for upcoming events, don’t miss this dress.

This outfit is so chic! I loved it when you shared it on snapchat or instagram. I love Lela Rose and always had my eye on one of her beautiful wedding gowns. The one I truly loved did not quite look right on my frame so I will definitely want to try out the after gown dress for my June wedding!
