I’m baaaaack! My apologies for the interruption in content on Friday – as you likely know if you’re an avid reader of my blog, I’ve never missed a blog post Monday-Friday. Consistency is something I pride myself on and is a characteristic of my blog I’d like to think I’m known for. With that said, I wasn’t able to finish every blog post I’d planned last week due to how tired I was at the end of each day on our trip! I wasn’t expecting to be so exhausted, but I guess walking 25,000+ steps a day can do that to you. I usually try to get all of my posts scheduled (or at least the images/collages done) before I leave for a trip so I know I won’t have to worry about it while abroad, but with the launch of A Detailed Destination my schedule before London was a bit hectic. I’m definitely going to try to get it all together before my next trip (Portugal!) at the end of the month though!! It’s a weight off my mind when everything is ready to go. Now for today’s post…

One of the features in my itineraries for A Detailed Destination is a roundup of the many “instagrammable” photo opps I come across when I travel to that particular destination. One of those for London is definitely Bywater Street in Chelsea! This tiny street is right off the main King’s Road, just a few blocks walk from the Sloane Square tube stop. Nearly every flat on the block is a fun hue, from pale pastels to bright pink and purple! I first shot on this street when I lived there in 2015, but thought it would be perfect to shoot again on this trip since it’s summertime! The colors look great with my summer sundress, don’t you think? Obsessed!

I love the flattering, one-shoulder silhouette and fitted waist on this dress. The midi length is great for sightseeing (no wind gusts blowing up your skirt!), and it features a pretty silver thread that I thought coordinated perfectly with these new sparkly sneakers. I know the shoes are a little wild, but they’re so fun and comfortable for long days of walking around town! I wore these sneakers several times on my visit to Paris and London, including on the long trip home. Did I mention the top part is velcro? Perfect for easy removal at airport security.
