This puff-sleeve suede jacket may just be my favorite purchase from this year’s Anniversary Sale! I love how effortlessly it ties so many looks together, from jeans and tees to little black dresses. The color is what fall dreams are made of – I just adore cognac! Such a rich and versatile neutral. The slightly puffed shoulders and minimal hardware give this jacket a more feminine nod than a traditional moto silhouette, elevating it enough for wearing with dressier looks. The jacket has been marked down to under $200, fits true to size (I’m wearing a small!) and is available in all sizes!

I know it’s crazy early to be sharing fall pieces, but I’m headed to Switzerland in a couple weeks and will be taking a few of my Anniversary Sale finds with me! Below are some other pieces I purchased in the sale that will definitely be useful in my travels:

  • One piece I’m really excited about is this slate grey quilted jacket! I’ll be packing it as an extra layer for my trip, but know it will be useful later this fall too with sweaters and jeans. Just a great casual, all-weather topper for whatever! I’m keeping the size 6.
  • I actually also ordered this longer quilted coat, and was toying with whether to keep it or not. My immediate reaction was no, only because the Bridle color in real life looks nothing like the photo on the website! With that said, I love the silhouette and still think the color will be useful in my wardrobe. It’s more of a grey-brown, quite a bit darker than the photo suggests. As of today I’m keeping it, but I may still change my mind!
  • As I mentioned in Monday’s post, I ordered this dress with the bad reviews and was surprised with how much I loved it! When it’s not belted, it’s not super flattering… BUT I’m planning on wearing it on the plane overseas and just casually around town. It’s really soft and comfortable and the silhouette is cute, which is all I need it to be!
  • The one pair of jeans I’m keeping from the sale is this pair! They’re skinny all the way to the ankle, the perfect high-rise fit and are so dark they’re almost black. Definitely taking these with me!
  • I’ve always been a big fan of Hanky Panky thongs, but it wasn’t until two weeks ago that I learned about this fit. It was made specifically for use with high-waisted clothing items, as the wider band lays completely flat! I’ve found that I sometimes have to adjust the band on the Original Rise, because they sometimes get bunched up under my jeans. So thrilled to have discovered this new style that solves the problem!
