If you didn’t already know, I’m a neutrals gal. Sure, I love a little color now and then, but more often than not you’ll find me in black, white, beige or grey. Solid staples in these easy neutrals makes getting ready every day pretty effortless. It makes mixing and matching a breeze! While you generally see all kinds of crazy colors on the runways at fashion week (month, really), one color that appeared to be everywhere for this coming season is camel. From head-to-toe looks to elegant accents, pretty beige pieces were all over the place! I, for one, am thrilled. For one, I already have a lot of this creamy neutral in my wardrobe… two, it gives me an excuse to buy more of my favorite color!

And while this trend is projected for spring/summer 2019, why wait? I was totally inspired by this look at Burberry, and wanted to create something similar for fall/winter that makes more sense for my everyday style. So I grabbed my favorite leather boots from last year, my go-to camel Givenchy bag, and a soft matching sweater. The only thing I needed was a coat to complete the look! Naturally, I headed to eBay. I found this simple + chic camel coat by kate spade new york for only $140! It was originally $428, so I’d call that a win. If you’re looking to try some of the runway trends yourself, I highly recommend finding them for less on eBay! I’ve found some amazing pieces over the years. If your mind is on outerwear too, check out the selection on eBay for awesome styles and some great steals!

Some additional tips for shopping on eBay:

  • Pay attention to seller information! I only shop from sellers with a lot of transaction history and 95% or above positive feedback. I wouldn’t recommend buying from sellers with no previous transactions!
  • Be specific with your search terms. There are SO many things on eBay, so search results can be overwhelming if you are searching too broadly. If you know exactly what you’re looking for, be as specific as you possibly can – select categories like price ranges, favored brands, etc to minimize search results.
  • Have a general idea of what your size is in the brands you want to order. And if you don’t have a clue, do some research on how the sizing runs before placing your order! You can find this info with a quick Google search.
