In an effort to share more home AND workwear content (as per your requests!), here’s an office appropriate outfit shot in my office at home! If I’m being honest, I don’t dress up like this to work at home, but that doesn’t mean I don’t own work-perfect pieces! While I normally wear jeans and a sweater to work at my desk, I do think it’s important to own a few solid staples that can be worn in a professional setting if necessary. One of my more recent purchases in this department is this neutral skirt. The fit is super flattering and the color could not be more versatile. It looks just as great with these soft neutral accessories as it does with a black sweater and black booties, which is how I plan to wear it when the temps cool down! This skirt also happens to be under $90, so it’s an affordable basic you will wear repeatedly.

Up top I’m wearing a Veronica Beard bodysuit which I picked up last year. It’s unfortunately no longer available, but you can achieve a similar look with this one or this one. My favorite thing about bodysuits like this is you don’t have to worry about getting the tuck just right. There’s no bulky extra fabric bulging from you skirt or pants, and it simply looks more polished!

Finally, I was in need of a good neutral suede heel, but didn’t want to spend too much on suede since it tends to stain easily. I decided on this pair that I found for only $120! They’re a great heel height, true to size and look so similar to the ones Meghan Markle wore on her visit to Sussex last week (which is on Sussex Style Watch today!!). They also happen to match my Celine bag perfectly, which is awesome! I know I’ll get a lot of use out of this year-round pump.

PS: here’s my new haircut that I mentioned in Friday’s newsletter – eek! It’s the shortest my hair has been since elementary school. It’s been a little weird to get used to, but I love it! It’s super easy to style. I’ll work on a post soon about how I’m doing that and what products I’m using. Also, I’ll be sharing a few other work looks over the next few weeks, so stay tuned!
