I actually snagged this coat, sweater, jeans AND these boots (also available here) during Shopbop’s big sale over Cyber Week! It was clearly meant to be, as all four pieces just so happened to look gorgeous together – totally unplanned. The coat is still available in my color scheme here, but there’s also a really cute + festive red version on Shopbop still (and on sale!)!! The full-priced amount is actually pretty reasonable for how stylish and useful this coat is. I wore this pretty lightweight coat on one of the colder days in New York with just an added cashmere scarf and gloves, and it was perfectly warm walking around all day! I love how you can unbutton the faux pockets to create a cape effect as I’ve done in these photos – such a chic feature to style this convertible coat more than one way! Or, button the pockets back up and put your hands through the regular sleeves for a typical winter look. Either way, I love it.

The creamy crewneck sweater I’m wearing is from Shopbop’s exclusive Bop Basics line, which is actually very high-quality. I bought some sweaters by the same label several years ago, but for the past year or two they haven’t done a collection… so imagine my surprise and delight when I saw they brought it back this fall! This season they’ve done a bunch of cute pajamas and stylish sweaters at price points that are somewhat easy to swallow.
