HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Oh boy, who else is excited about 2019?! I certainly am. There’s something about wiping the slate clean each year that gives me hope, a fresh outlook and a renewed vigor to tackle whatever comes next. Who knows what this year will bring, but I have faith it’ll be a great one! To start the year off on the right foot, I’m diving headfirst into good content.

For those of you who might be new to following me on here, THE EDIT is a weekly series I started in 2013 that features a curated roundup of pieces that are on my wish list or inspiring me each week! These items can range anywhere from fashion finds to beauty products to home decor, and everything in between. Since THE EDIT is meant to be inspirational and aspirational, many of the items in these collages are on the more expensive or investment side of things. If you’ve been following me since the beginning (January 2011 – can you believe it’s been NINE YEARS?!), you likely already know my blog has a luxury niche. I have long been a lover of contemporary and designer brands, and pride myself in selecting classic investment pieces I’ll wear for a lifetime. While I do love a good neutral staple (a la this week’s EDIT), I also love to have fun with color, I enjoy trying new trends and generally just exploring all of the ins and outs of fashion. I’m definitely that girl who dresses based on her mood that day – one day I’ll throw on Golden Goose sneakers with jeans, and the next I’m wearing a ladylike dress and Chanel flats. You’re not going to glance at my Instagram feed and have me pegged. I’m all about VARIETY! All of that to say, that’s sort of what you can expect from my blog. A wide variety of content!

I also try to feature a wide variety of price points each week in THE EDIT, but if you are strictly looking for more budget-friendly finds, you’ll definitely want to check out my Under $100 collage series that I share each and every Thursday. I also have an area of my site called THE SHOP, which is basically just an ongoing wish list I add to every week! There’s an Under $100 tab, a Style Staples tab, and a couple of tabs where you can shop items I feature on my InstaStories. I also have a seasonal tab that rotates in and out, like the Fall/Winter tab I just replaced with Resort Roundup! Definitely be sure to keep an eye on THE SHOP for the latest and greatest.
