I leave for my trip to the British Virgin Islands in just over three weeks, so yesterday I placed a few orders on Shopbop, Revolve, Matches Fashion and NET-A-PORTER filled with a bunch of new beachy finds. In terms of vacation-ready pieces, those are definitely my favorite places to shop! I ordered a couple new pairs of flat sandals, several beach-to-dinner dresses, two new swimsuits and even a couple of hair accessories! I ordered a lot and plan to return quite a bit – it’s very rare for me want to keep everything I’ve ordered due to incorrect fit, expectation vs reality, etc… but hopefully I ordered enough to give me some good options for this trip! In case you missed my InstaStories, I’d already purchased and am planning to keep this darling Otomi-print one-piece and the matching coverup, and I also invested in this very flattering black one-piece by Karla Colletto. It is very pricey and more than I normally like to spend on swimwear, but these days I’m all about buying pieces that make me look my very best.. and finding the right fit is worth it to me! Plus, it’s a classic style and color that I know I can re-wear year after year.
