This coming Saturday I will be on my way down to the British Virgin Islands with my family! We’re actually recreating the exact same trip we took back in 2011. We had sooooo much fun and I cannot wait to do it all over again! We’ve rented out the same trimaran that features ten bedrooms aboard, so basically we all just stay on the boat and island hop all week. We have most of our meals on the boat and will spend our days lying in the sun, swimming, snorkeling, stopping in towns to shop, hit up the island bars after dinner… It’s definitely my favorite trip we’ve taken as a family since my mom and stepdad got together! The thing I’m most excited about? WARM WEATHER!

We had a taste of it in Dallas last Friday and it was absolute bliss. I picked up several new dresses and swimwear options for this trip, especially considering I’ll be shooting while I’m down there. When we went in 2011 I hadn’t started doing outfit posts yet – at that point my blog was still anonymous!!! Excited to take advantage of the beautiful backdrops and bright blue waters around the islands. Here are a few things I’ve picked up for spring/summer so far this season that I’ll be taking with me on my trip!
